Interchange Australia has been providing support services to people with disability and older people for over 30 years. We are committed to keeping our clients and staff fully informed with regards to sector and organisational news.
For many years now, Interchange Australia has provided both clients and staff access to our intranet where scopes of work, news, policy and procedure updates, event information and articles written by our consultants on various sector and service topics. We have also kept our clients and staff informed via our website, social media pages, magazine, exhibitions and the local newspaper and radio stations.
Our staff are invited to attend monthly information sessions on various topics related to the disability and aged care sectors that are designed to enhance their professional skill set and to ensure that our clients continue to receive the highest level of service.
We are excited to announce our latest series of information sessions launching in October. These information sessions will be held every month at our office in Bowral, located at 3 Forest Lane, and will cover a wide range of subjects that will be of benefit to existing clients, prospective clients, parents, carers, and health professionals. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Join us on Wednesday 30th October for our information session focusing on the importance of respite for carers and the positive experiences our clients enjoy whilst in respite.
This information session will feature a presentation from our consultant, Genevieve Vel, about our respite services and will also feature a presentation by a carer who will provide an insight into their experience raising a child with disability and how respite services have assisted their family.
