Interchange Australia appreciates that sometimes people would like to donate to, or leave a bequest to an organisation in their Will, helping the organisation continue valuable services for years to come.

We understand that it is often difficult to think about making a Will and as a charity we also find it hard to discuss this.

We are aware, however, that some people do think about donating in this way.  Bequests to organisations can be for any amount or include items such as shares, premises, cash or even cars.

For this reason we offer the following sample wording for supporters considering a bequest:

“I give to Interchange Australia, a charity, for its charitable purposes the sum of $          free of all debts, duties and taxes, and declare the receipt of the treasurer shall be sufficient discharge to my executors/trustees for this gift.”

Interchange Australia is unable to assist with the creation of a Will and it would be best if you contact a solicitor for advice on this topic.

Or for a pledge:
I…………………….. pledge $………………..towards items and/or service for Interchange Australia by…./…../…. I can be contacted on …………………….. at ………………………..

Interchange Australia has Deductible Gift Recipient status.  Any amount of funds pledged over $2 is tax deductible and a receipt will be provided.
